Bio
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to express my interest in the position of a (freelance) translator that you posted on your
website/profile.
I translate from English to Uzbek. My mother tongue is Uzbek. My experience in translation is about 5
years by now. I do
translation in the subjects like general, marketing, legal, technical, social sciences, economy, etc. Being a
full-time translator, I also offer freelance translation services. I have been working with different
international translation agencies and freelance platforms or direct clients, among which
Upwork.com,Proz.com and
many others.
I am a graduate of Uzbek State World Languages University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I hold a Bachelor's
degree in English philology. Besides, I had an experience of attending English courses. I studied 1-year
English to Proficiency course in Poznan, Poland, which was part of Polish Government Young Scientists
program.
I use a couple of CAT tools such as SDL Trados 2019, Wordfast Pro 5, MateCat, etc.
I am mostly available in evenings (Tashkent time GMT+5) and weekends, however, I can find free time
during business hours as well. I check my email box constantly.
