As a graduate with an MA in Spanish (Hispanic Linguistics) from the University of Arizona and BA in Language & Linguistics and History from Brandeis University, I am seeking work in the field of linguistics and translation. Awarded two Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships, for the summer and academic year of 2019-2020, I was granted the opportunity to further study of Portuguese language and Latin American culture both in Brazil and in Arizona. With experience teaching undergraduate Spanish classes at the University of Arizona, various levels of TEFL-certified English classes with Peace Corps in Costa Rica and online with Open English, studying and living in Brazil, as well as experience and high-level training in linguistics, history, and intercultural competence, I am confident in my proficiencies, and I invite you to contact me for your language needs.
