As a student, I primed myself in English lexicology, particularly in English synonyms and antonyms. I believe, it has remained my hobby and the source of my primary preoccupation up till now.
In January, 2000 I was elected a Member of the Russian Translators Union, which is an equivalent of the American Translators Association.
