Originally from Ireland but I have been living in Goiânia, Brazil for quite some time now. Started out as an English language teacher but I have diversified in recent years into translating academic articles for fellow college teachers. I graduated initially with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Political Science from UCD, Dublin, Ireland in 1987. Afterwards I completed a B.D (hours) in Theology at Milltown Institute, Dublin, Ireland in 1991. I also hold a Masters (1st Class Hons) in International Relations (DCU, Dublin, Ireland, 2002). I spent a long time in the Health Care Industry and have a variety of Diplomas in that area. I also served as a Director for a Credit Union (Community Bank) in rural Ireland. In Brazil I currently teach Economics, English Literature, Public Speaking and Creative Writing at Colégio Agostiniano, Goiânia as part of a program where students study for dual Brazilian and American High School diplomas under the auspices of Texas Tech University. I also teach English language at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC Goias) and at Cultura Inglesa (a franchise school). I own a small translating service which specializes in translating academic papers for publication in journals, principally in the USA.
