A Brazilian of Japanese descent, I spent my early childhood in Japan before moving to Brazil. From a young age I found myself interested in the English language and learned it through constant reading and practice. After high school I enrolled into São Paulo University's language course and aimed for fluency in Japanese.

After being approved in the N3 Level Japanese Language Proficiency Test, I got the opportunity to spend an year as an exchange student at the University of Toyama, where I studied Japanese literature and language. Meanwhile, I got myself involved with a local NPO where I tutored foreign children in both the English and Japanese languages and helped translating any needed documents and notices to parents.
