Bio

Hi,

My name is Audrey and I am a French native speaker and language teacher. I have studied English grammar and translation at postgraduate level and have lived in the UK for over 7 years, teaching my native tongue to English learners.

This has allowed me to have a great understanding of the specificities of each langage.

I have learned and applied translation strategies during my postgraduate studies and I use my translation skills on a daily basis.

I have experience interpreting (French to English and English to French) in a travelling context.

I can translate a variety of topics and have experience translating texts in a litterature, legal, news context. As my translation studies were varied, I am open to learn about other industries.

In my spare time, I enjoy contributing to TED talks by creating subtitles for their videos (English into French).
