Bio

My name is Angela Brant and I am very interested in working
with you as a freelance translator (English into Brazilian Portuguese).

I have a degree in Languages (Portuguese-English) from PUC
Rio, and the Cambridge Proficiency Certificate, obtained in 1970. I have also
attended courses for Translators and Interpreters, as you can see on my resume.

I have worked for several renowned publishing houses, as
editorial coordinator, translator, proofreader, and Copy Desk. Furthermore, I
am fluent in English, having studied it since I was 10 years old, in High
School, and later, in 1967, in the USA, as an exchange student, and also in
England (1969), to prepare myself for the Cambridge exams.

I am proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, etc) and CAT Tools (Trados 2014, memoQ).

I am flexible (including in price negotiation) and reliable.
