Born and raised in Malaysia, I am a Malay native speaker who grew up in a bilingual family. I grew up speaking English since I attended a convent school where the curriculum were delivered in both English and Malay. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University, USA in 1998, where I have majored in Marketing and minored in Social Relations.

I have been working as a branding, public relations and marketing professional in various industries for 20 years. I am familiar with the requirements of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing and communications. I have written variety of marketing communication materials for print and online, in English and Malay. With exposure in international and local companies, I am skilled at translating and conveying messages that resonate with the cultural norms of the targeted audience.

A wellness enthusiast, I practice Yoga and Pilates regularly, indulge in art (watercolour and pouring art) and provide emotional support and care through therapeutic art activities. Recently certified as a Mental Health First Aider in April 2021.
