My name is Basem Treki, from Libya.
I am currently living in the UK and working as a bilingual teaching assistant at Swansea Council. I work between Swansea schools as an English language trainer for some Arab pupils aged 5-16 who recently arrived with their families in the UK. I provide those pupils with in-class and one-to-one bilingual support.
I also work as a freelance interpreter and translator for two translation and interpreting agencies in England and Wales.
I hold a Master’s degree in the area of professional translation from Swansea University School of arts and a Bachelor’s degree in translation from University of Benghazi, Libya. |
