I trained and worked as a registered general nurse at the
Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.  I lived
in Madrid for twelve years where I used my bilingual skills and medical
knowledge to become a full-time freelance translator from Spanish to English working for several
translation agencies in Madrid.

I
have over 25 years’ experience in technical and medical translation and have specialised
in medical and nursing journal article translation and proof-reading since 2012.  I translate an average of 15000 words per week
