I am an
English to Spanish Corporate Technical Translator & Interpreter (CIOL / ATA
Member), expert at providing accurate and assured translation, interpretation
and proofing services for companies needing Spanish versions of documents and
remote English and Spanish interpreting services. I excel at performing short
notice complex translation services for international clients to ensure
information is accurately translated into Spanish without losing document
meaning.

In
leveraging SDL Trados Studio and XTM platforms, I perform world-class
translation services for international clients. When completing combined
translation, interpretation and proof-reading projects for multiple clients
simultaneously, I ensure accuracy and compliance to requirement and regulation.

When LP
required translation samples to attract new client, as Retained Translator, I
furnished PM with evidence to support new agreement. I identified requirement
US-Spanish translations, provided versions in Mexican-Spanish and US / Mexican
interpretations. I identified risks of misinterpretations, leveraging examples
to convert clients thinking and adjusted client’s terminology to demonstrate alternate
solution. LP Succeeded in securing contract.

When Mexican
non-governmental organization needed to improve translation services of
international documents, as Independent Translator, I reviewed and improved
processes. I identified process weaknesses, leveraged DDC manuals /
questionnaires, Good Practice guides and technical documents for process
improvements and deployed improvements. Succeeded in refining the
organization’s translation services while reducing document processing time and
improving overall quality of translation services.
