My name is Chiara, I'm a 23-year-old Italian girl who has just graduated in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation at Università degli Studi di Milano. My biggest dream is working in an international environment, translating texts from English or German to my native language. This is my first experience as translator and I'm very excited about that because it's my first step towards my dream job. I've always translated texts during my studies but always for educational purposes, not as part of a working career; for example, my final exam consisted in the discussion of my propo proposal of translation of a turistic magazine written in German into Italian: it was such a great experience that contributed to the consolidation of my passion for the translation process and that made me even more enthusiast about this type of profession.
