I am a native Icelander based in Norway. I grew up in Iceland in a bilingual Icelandic-English household and have used both languages throughout my life. I also work for an Icelandic tourism company and use both Icelandic and English daily when communicating with customers.

I am an Accounting Manager with more than 10 years of experience in accounting and financial administration, primarily within the tourism industry. My work includes invoicing, reconciliation, booking systems, customer communication and the daily professional use of Icelandic and English.

I have been living in Norway for about 11 years and I also run a small coffee shop in Norway on weekends and during the summer season, where I regularly welcome international tourists and communicate with customers in English and Norwegian. At home, we speak both Icelandic and Norwegian with my children and my Norwegian husband and bonus children. 

I provide translation, proofreading and post-editing from English into Icelandic and from Norwegian into Icelandic.
