Hello. I'm Irina and graduated in 2021 at the University of Genoa, in Italy.

I don't have any work experience in translation but I studied as an interlinguistic mediator and based my thesis on the subtitling of a Mexican movie produced by Netflix.

During my years of study I had the opportunity to join the Erasmus program and visit Malaga, in Spain, and deepen in the different ways to translate.

I was born in Latvia and my first words were pronounced in Russian, but an early relocation changed my primary language to Italian. Nonetheless, my origins influenced my career, by pushing me towards the study of Russian language and culture, and made easier the pronounciation of its fonetics.
