Source text - English Death is not something that will happen only to others, but something that all of us will encounter. We may not die at a young age, we may not die after a long illness, we may not die as a result of a violent or traumatic death, but we will all die. As we get close to people as their lives end, it quickly becomes clear that we are talking about something that will happen to us too. We will all know grief, as well, as long as we are involved with others about whom we care. We are not talking about “them”; we are talking about all of us. How does this change who we are when we work with the dying?
Translation - Turkish Ölüm sadece başkalarının başına gelecek bir şey değil, hepimiz onunla yüzleşeceğiz. Belki genç yaşta ya da uzun bir hastalıktan sonra ölmeyiz, şiddetli veya travmatik bir ölümümüz de olmayabilir ama sonunda hepimiz öleceğiz.
