I am a Germany-based research freelance translator and scholar looking for employment opportunities.
I have a background in modern languages and American studies, which allowed me to master writing skills in both English and Spanish. My background was then perfected by a degree in international relations and a doctorate in environmental humanities. I wrote content pieces for academic blogs and NGOs during my studies, drafted research reports and published a significant number of academic articles.
During my academic career, I also worked as a freelance translator. I started translating blog content and subtitling in forums and websites worldwide at a very tender age. As I began my doctoral journey, I decided to give a serious shot at translation. I edited and translated different content in several languages. For example, I also translated a research monograph (ENG-ITA), a collective volume (ENG-ITA) and several articles (ENG-ITA, POR-ENG).
Throughout my research career, I have coordinated sizeable international research teams of people from different life paths, written successful grant applications and taught university courses at different levels (both BA and MA).
My dynamic life path intersects with my professional trajectory. I lived and conducted fieldwork in several parts of the world – e.g. Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, and the US – and participated in international events worldwide. These experiences led me to develop my observation and adaptation skills. Moreover, they allowed me to achieve proficiency in four languages (Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese) and to possess basic skills in French and German.
