Nov 8, 2023 (posted viaProZ.com): Just finished a hybrid job: FRE>ENG translation of a 60k script while inserting the portions already translated by the client in a separate document. Particular issue not foreseen: the French text, which had gone to print, differed widely from the original version the client's English translation had been based on. Translations Inc. lektoriere ich Übersetzungen und suche Unterstützung
durch erfahrene Lektoren, vor allem in
den Bereichen Technologie und Patente (DEU>ENG/FRA; ENG>FRA).
I have been a translator since 1985, a reviser/editor since 2001, and a
trainer of revisers/editors since 2014. Since
stepping down as CEO, I have edited MT for complex 200k+ high-profile reports
(ENG>FRE) and also a 60k autobiography (ENG>FRE). I am looking for
seasoned revisers with solid knowledge in law, policy and politics
(ENG>FRE), patents and technology in general (GER>FRE/ENG; ENG>FRE).

2014. Depuis que j'ai quitté mon poste de PDG, j'ai fait la postédition de
