German to Spanish (Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación) Spanish to German (Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación) German to Spanish (Universidad de Alicante) Spanish to German (Universidad de Alicante) English to Spanish (Universidad de Alicante)
I was born and raised in Hannover (Germany) until the age of 19, where I completed my high school studies and the university entrance exam (Abitur).
Afterwards, I moved to Alicante (Spain) where I studied a degree in Translation and Interpreting (German) with an excellent average grade of 9.34. After my university studies, I trained for three years with a German and a Spanish lawyer, where I specialised in legal and economic-financial translation and in the sworn translation of various documents. I also specialised in interpreting for courts and notaries. In total, I have more than 18 years of experience in translation and interpreting in the legal and economic-financial sector, my main clients being law firms, notary's offices and consultancies.
In addition, I have taught at the University of Alicante in the Master's Degree in Institutional Translation in the subject "Comparative Legal Systems" and also in the Degree in Translation and Interpreting in the subjects "General Reverse Translation Spanish-German, language B English" and "General Reverse Translation Spanish-German, language B French" for students whose main languages were English and French, respectively.
