Bio

I am a California-born professional translator, editor and writer based in Berlin. After graduating with honors from UCLA with degrees in Sociology and History, I began my career writing for and editing a labor union newspaper as well as freelance editing academic books and publications. Upon moving to Germany in 2011, I studied German language up to a C2 level. I began working as a professional translator in 2013 in various fields, including marketing, e-commerce, legal, HR, fashion, health and music. I translate, proofread, edit and write professionally for a variety of clients, and teach business English.


I am also a professional musician and recording artist, and I count music as one of the languages I speak!
