I have had extensive translation experience over the past decade, having voluntarily translated science news for a number of popular science magazines and student societies while studying for electronical engineering and molecular biology degrees between 2010 and 2019. In addition to this, I have completed various small translation jobs, as well as writing original articles in Turkish.
My education at Bogazici University, one of Turkey's most prestigious universities, was conducted entirely in English, which has allowed me to develop a strong command of the language. I have been able to put this to good use during my time working at Independent Turkish Service between 2019-2021, where I translated a variety of content from the original English source material into Turkish. This included science, technology, health, environment, lifestyle, and political news. My experience in translating such diverse content has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the nuances of language, and I am committed to delivering accurate, high-quality translations every time. |
