Bio
I got a degree in foreign languages at Catholic University in Brescia (Italy) in 1996.
Since then I’ve always worked in translations and languages field.
I am administrative foreign assistant in a firm producing safety systems and one of my main jobs in these years has been translating technical manuals into Italian.
I also specialized in 2003 in editorial translation taking a Master by Isabella C. Blum.
I want translation become my first job and that’s why I’ve been taking in these years many translation courses , to become updated as much as possible on what regards translation world.
Actually I am available mostly in the evenings or late afternoon, during the weekend full time.
I am specializing in legal English at the moment and I asked to become a sworn translator at Tribunale di Brescia.
My experience is mostly as a technical translator (manuals on functioning of alarm plants, safety systems and videosurvey, but not only this.
I collaborate also with some associations as voluntary translator : Traduttori per la pace - Ring 14 (www.ring14.it) and Diritto per la casa senza frontiere (www.habitants.org)
That kind of experience is precious as well because it made me encounter various type of texts, articles, letters, etc..
