Source text - English See, for much of the year, we live one life, only to be transported for a week or the occasional weekend into another. A better, happier life where we prioritize our own enjoyment and finally remember to carpe diem.
We love traveling for the art and the culture and the food and the music and the people and the dancing. Obviously. But I think the reason we love it best is that it allows us to be new people. Perhaps better people.
And the good news is, we can cultivate those people in our regular lives back home. Though it will take some getting used to.
I love travel me because she’ll go to a quirky art show on a whim. I love her because she won’t judge herself too hard over a delicious treat at the local bakery. I love her because she’ll try new things that I normally wouldn’t have.

Translation - Portuguese Veja bem, durante grande parte do ano vivemos uma vida apenas para sermos transportados, por uma semana ou um fim de semana eventual, para outra vida. Uma vida melhor e mais feliz, onde priorizamos nosso próprio prazer e, finalmente, lembramos de "carpe diem".
Adoramos viajar por causa da arte, da cultura, da comida, da música, das pessoas e da dança. Isso é óbvio. Mas acredito que o motivo que mais amamos é porque viajar nos permite ser novas pessoas. Talvez pessoas melhores.

Regenerative is the way forward.
Focusing only on minimizing damage won’t save us.
We need to go beyond that and restore nature and society.
The sustainable way:
- Minimize waste
- Reduce emissions
- Reduce consumption
- Phase out all fossil fuels
- Use sustainable materials
The regenerative way - all of the above plus:
- Regenerate forests
- Restore biodiversity
- Train people with green skills
- Implement a circular economy
- Focus on wellbeing, not just GDP
- Help endangered species to prolifer again
- Create systems change and tackle root causes
- Embed regeneration in every organization and institution
- Help local communities and indigenous people become more resilient
Regenerative > sustainable.
