Born in the US into a Japanese family, I was naturally bilingual as a child. I have an experience forgetting all that I knew as a child as for language at age 6 when I relocated to Japan, and had to re-learn English on my own at the age of 14. I sincerely understand the value of being able to go back and forth smoothly and effortlessly when speaking, so I put in extra effort to make sure I stay on top of my languages; English and Japanese
My most recent experience includes interpreting for two Podcast interviews for Japanese talents in 2023, and experiences interpreting the classes and private sessions taught at a retreat center I was also managing in the Philippines from 2012-2015, after I traveled around Japan interpreting for workshops and private sessions by the founder of the retreat center in 2011.
Other interpretation experience include translating for yoga workshops in Japan for Lucy Roberts from Australia and Guruji from India.
I have a BA in Fashion and have worked in the industry for many years, and I have also interpreted for corporate meetings, from casual dinner conversations to make connections to pitching proposals.
My expertise is in the esoteric teachings such as Yoga, Meditation, Tantra, Tarot readings, and Astrology, as well as anything Fashion in the fields of Design, Business, Marketing, History, Textile, and Trend Report.
日本人としてアメリカに生まれた私は、子供の頃から自然と英語も日本語も両方を学びましたが、６歳の時に日本へ移住し、一切の英語を忘れました。そして１４歳の時に渡米して、また自分でいちから英語を学ぶ必要があったので、２ヶ国語をスムーズに行ったり来たりできることの価値を重々承知しているつもりです。故に、両方の言葉磨きには時間を惜しみません。
私の最も最近（2023年夏）の経験は、ポッドキャストのインタビューを主に英語から日本語に、また日本語の返答を英語に訳すものでした。
あとは、2011年に、チェコから来日したタントラの先生のワークショップとプライベートセッションを通訳しながら日本を旅し、2012年から2015年末まで、フィリピンにあるその先生のリトリートセンターで日本人向けのリトリートを年に３回企画し、リードティーチャーを務めた傍ら、先生の講義、個人セッションの全てを通訳してきました。（ヨーロッパ向けのリトリートの時は英語でヨガと瞑想のクラスと講義を担当しました）
他の経験としましては、オーストラリアからルーシーロバーツが来日した際、インドからグルジが来日した際に、愛知県の名古屋市で行われたヨガのワークショップの通訳をさせていただきました。
あとは、ファッションの学校を4年、デザイン科で卒業、アメリカでのアパレル産業での職務経験もあるので、名古屋市の（株）豊島さまにて、中国向けの英語の資料の確認等から、イタリアのCEOが来日した際に、ディナーの接待から、営業のビジネスミーティングまで幅広く通訳を務めさせていただきました。
私が得意とする通訳、翻訳の分野は、ヨガ、瞑想、タントラ、タロット、占星術などの「スピリチュアル」と呼ばれる分野と、「ファッション」のデザイン、ビジネス、マーケティング、歴史、テキスタイル、流行レポートなどです。
