Source text - English “Hamilton is a sung-and-rapped-through biographical musical with music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Based on the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, the musical covers the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and his involvement in the American Revolution and the political history of the early United States. Composed over a seven-year period from 2008 to 2015, the music draws heavily from hip hop, as well as R&B, pop, soul, and traditional-style show tunes. It casts non-white actors as the Founding Fathers of the United States and other historical figures. Miranda described Hamilton as about "America then, as told by America now.”

Bio
I’ve been working in this language area for 10 years now but this is something that had always interested me before.
I started in 2013 as an English teacher at an English school in a poor neighborhood in São Paulo, Brazil. Since then I’ve worked as a private teacher (which I do up until today), an English teacher at a regular school with students from 10 to 15 years old. I volunteered for a few months in Cambodia as an English tutor as well as interpreted (EN-PTBR) in some events here in Brazil. Aside from that I’ve worked with translation for friends (like CVs, Final Projects and abstracts) and for companies (for example, for Chinese solar energy companies).
Right now I’m looking to expand my horizons toward French as well, but haven’t had a lot of experience working with that directly so far.
