CONCLUSION DU CONTRAT
Translation - English JOINT LIABILITY
In the event of more than one SELLER and/or BUYER, the parties shall bear to undertake the obligations of this contract for which they are jointly liable, without need to reference this joint liability hereafter.
CAPACITY
The parties, and their representatives, if necessary, attest that they have unrestricted capacity to undertake these obligations, and in particular:
That their personal data indicated above such as nationality, residence, registered office, capital, license number, are correct.
That they are not in a state of cessation of payments, undergoing insolvency proceedings, compulsory liquidation, or a company safeguard procedure.
That they are not subject to:
Any legal measure pertaining to a conservatorship that has not been disclosed herein.
Any provision of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation) regarding the settlement of overindebtedness, except as may be specified herein.
That as a legal entity they are not subject to any requests for annulment or dissolution.
NEGOTIATION OUTCOME
The parties declare that the provisions herein were negotiated in good faith, respecting the mandatory regulations in Article 1104 of the French Civil Code (Code civil). They also affirm that this agreement is balanced to their mutual satisfaction.
RECIPROCAL DUTY TO PROVIDE INFORMATION
Article 1112-1 of the French Civil Code imposes on the parties a pre-contractual duty to provide information, which may, however, have no bearing on the price. Pursuant to this article, the SELLER declares that they have brought to the BUYER’s attention all the pertinent and necessary information available to them related to the content of this contract, and which may be a determining factor in the BUYER’S consent.
The SELLER acknowledges that they would be liable if they are found to be in breach of this duty, and, if it nullifies the consent of the BUYER, the contract may thus be voided. Similarly, the BUYER declares that they have fulfilled the same requirements, any breach of which would be sanctioned in the manner hereabove.
The duty to provide information is therefore reciprocal.

Translation - English Introduction
Immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is an auto-immune disease characterized by temporary or chronic low platelet count (less than 100 g/l) [1-3]. The estimated incidence of ITP is 1.9 to 6.4/100,000 children and 3.3/100,000 adults per year [4]. Patients are often asymptomatic, and ITP is diagnosed incidentally following routine complete blood counts. In other cases, ITP is diagnosed following an episode of moderate or, more rarely, severe bleeding [5]. The diagnosis for ITP is established once alternative causes for thrombocytopenia have been excluded, such as viral or auto-immune infections, as no specific diagnostic test to confirm ITP exists [3].
The main objective of current therapeutic strategies is to prevent bleeding. The latest recommendations published by the ASH in 2011 suggest beginning treatment if the platelet count drops below 30 g/l, regardless of clinical symptoms of hemorrhage [3], but there is little clinical evidence to support this approach. However, the ITP treatment recommendations by the World Health Organization (WHO), grades III and IV, are based on bleeding symptoms regardless of platelet levels. Patients with severe thrombocytopenia between 20-30 g/l may be offered treatment, but in the absence of hemorrhage, a “watch-and-wait” strategy may also be considered.
