RESUMO:
Este relato aborda as discussões acerca do letramento de pessoas jovens e adultas, a partir das propostas desenvolvidas pelo Projeto de Extensão “Novos Caminhos, Novas Estradas: redes de espaços de diálogos com motoristas do transporte público do Centro de Humanidades - Campus III”. Tem como objetivo refletir sobre as práticas de letramentos realizadas com os motoristas-condutores dos estudantes da UEPB e os alcances deste Projeto de Extensão. Fez uso de uma abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, da Observação Participante e do questionário semiestruturado. Os resultados apontam a importância dos espaços educativos direcionados a esses sujeitos e para a constatação de que as práticas de letramento geram uma aprendizagem favorável, quando são valorizadas as experiências individuais dos sujeitos aprendentes.

Translation - English LITERACY PRACTICES WITH DRIVERS: A REPORT ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE EXTENSION PROJECT NEW PATHWAYS, NEW HIGHWAYS - UEPB/CAMPUS III.
Abstract:
This report covers the discussion regarding literacy of young and adult people, from the proposals conducted by the Extension Project: "New Pathways, New Highways: network spaces of dialogue with public transport drivers from the Humanities Center - Campus III". It aims to reflect upon literacy practices carried out on drivers-operators of UEPB students and the outreach of this Extension Project. It used a qualitative approach research, Participant Observation, as well as a semi-structured survey. The results reveal the importance of educational spaces targeting these individuals and to recognize that literacy practices result in favorable learning, whenever the personal experiences from learning individuals are valued.

I'm a brazilian translator who always had interest and motivation to learn english, grew up playing video games which helped me a lot to become fluent in english, specially during the pandemic. Now I'm fluent in english and I know how games should sound like to a brazilian gamer.
I'm about to graduate in Nutrition, so that's another area I'm very interested and have experience with the terms within it, also alongside it, bodybuilding is my main hobby, so I also have some good knowledge about its topics.
I've translated some college studies from PT to EN and I also translated a full book from PT to EN. Translation is definitely what I'm going for as for now, so I'm excited to get my first localization and transcription/subtitling jobs.
