أعلنت رئيسة وزراء نيوزيلندا إلغاء حفل زفافها بعد فرض قيود جديدة للحد من انتشار تفشي فيروس كورونا في بلادها.
ومن المقرر أن تخضع البلاد بأكملها لأعلى مستوى من القيود بعد ارتفاع عدد الإصابات بسلالة أوميكرون. وتتضمن هذه القيود وضع حد أقصى للحضور في الحفلات والمناسبات لا يتجاوز 100 شخص بشرط أن يكونوا قد حصلوا على التطعيم باللقاحات المضادة للفيروس، فضلاً عن ارتداء الكمامات في المتاجر والمطاعم ووسائل المواصلات العامة.

New Zealand’s prime minister cancelled her wedding after announcing new restrictions to limit the spread of the coronavirus in her country.
The whole country is set to undergo the highest level of restrictions after an outbreak of the Omicron variant.
These restrictions include setting a maximum of 100 vaccinated people allowed in parties and events, while necessitating mask-wearing in shops, restaurants, and on public transport.
New Zealand has undergone strict rules since the emergence of the virus, which allowed it to limit death rates. Additionally, it was one of the first countries in the world to close borders and impose complete lockdown measures.
