Bio

I am a professional translator working with Italian, English, Chinese, and Japanese, with a strong focus on cultural adaptation and context-aware translation.

My approach prioritizes meaning, register, and cultural nuance over word-for-word rendering. I work sense-for-sense, ensuring that each text is not only linguistically accurate, but also appropriate for its target audience and cultural context.

I have a particular sensitivity to culture-specific content and texts where implicit meaning, pragmatics, and register play a central role. My goal is to produce translations that read naturally while remaining faithful to the intent and function of the original text.
