University degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures. Post-Graduate Specialisation in Applied Linguistics at the Free University in Berlin. Several years of experience as a teacher and a translator from German-English into Italian (Swiss). Specialty fields: legal, contract law, civil law, economics, finance (Annual and Interim reports, balance sheet, corporate documents) , marketing (press releases), technical reports. Member of ASTTI (Swiss Association of Translators and Interpreters) since 2005. 5 years In -house translator for a Swiss German power company and 15 years experience as a free lance translator.
I am a skilled language professional with many years of experience in translating. The 80 % of my output is German to (Swiss) Italian therefore I can say translating from German is my specialty. I also translate from English to Italian or Swiss Italian most of all in the medical and in the marketing field.
