Bio
Hi, I am a multi-lingual IT professional, but I am mostly a linguist, a technical translator, and a ESL teacher. I have a strong foundation in Information Technology and a unique background in multilingual communication and cross-cultural expertise. I bring a diverse and interdisciplinary skill set, combining hands-on high-tech experience with deep academic training in linguistics, translation, and Chinese studies.
I am native in both English and Italian, for family reasons, but I have also spent some beautiful years living in China, where I immersed myself in Mandarin, Classical Chinese, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and classical Chinese culture.
I have a few university degrees and certifications, and my academic journey reflects the interests listed above, with a Master's degrees in Translation studies (Chinese-English), a current degree in Informatics, and also a CompTIA Security+ certification, and a TEFL certification.
I have work experience in Cybersecurity, and in ESL teaching, and a overall strong passion for technology, language, and lifelong learning, but translations are my real passion.
