Source text - English Now the last environment council has been successfully concluded, it is time to assess the results of the Belgian presidency of the environment council. For an honest assessment we should take into account the ambitious goals we had set ourselves before the beginning of the presidency. Our main objectives were Climate Change, Biodiversity, Sustainable materials management (resource efficiency) and better instruments for environmental policy. In all these fields, significant progress or success was achieved. Under the Belgian presidency the European Union adopted an ambitious set of conclusions that served as a basis for the climate negotiations in Cancun. By showing responsibility and ambition on the one hand, and realism and flexibility on the other, we put the EU back in its natural role of bridge builder in the negotiations. Although a legally binding agreement has yet to be agreed upon, the EU played a huge part in getting the international negotiation progress back on track while at the same time achieving significant results in crucial policy areas such as monitoring, deforestation and financing. If the Court later finds that this Order has caused loss to the Respondent, and decides that the Respondent should be compensated for that loss, the Claimants will comply with any order the Court may make. 2. The Claimants, in respect of any order the Court may make pursuant to para (1) above, will: a. on or before the date so ordered provide to the Respondent security in the sum so ordered by causing payment to be made into Court and/or a bond to be issued by an insurance company with a place of business within Singapore and/or a written guarantee to be issued from a bank with a place of business within Singapore and/or payment to the claimant's solicitor to be held by the solicitor as an officer of the Court pending further order; and b. cause evidence of the provision of security to be extended to the Respondent immediately after the security has been put up. 3. As soon as practicable the claimant will serve on the Respondent the Originating Application herein together with this Order. 4. As soon as practicable the claimant will serve on the Respondent a copy of the affidavits and exhibits containing the evidence relied on by the Claimants. 5. Anyone notified of this Order will be given a copy of it by the Claimants' solicitor. 6. The Claimants will pay the reasonable costs of anyone other than the Respondent which have been incurred as a result of this Order including the costs of ascertaining whether that person holds any of the Property and if the Court later finds that this Order has caused such person loss, and decides that such person should be compensated for that loss, the Claimant will comply with any order the Court may make.
