I work as an Official Translator for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) since 1989, in English and Spanish language. I have studied Biology in the Athens University and so prefer translations of medical / scientific content, but during the eleven years I work as translator, I have done translations in many other fields too.

I charge on the basis of the text's difficulty/terminology. I usually charge around 12.5 cents per word (25 dollars for a page of 200 words). If the project is urgent, I charge 50% more. If the text is easy or of many pages, I charge less.
