dchen earned his B.A. in English in China and taught English at the Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering for eight years. He has published a 410,000-word book, co-authored three volumes of university course books, jointly compiled The Comprehensive Chinese-English Dictionary, and written numerous articles. He finished his M.A. study in Englihs at UNL in 1988, and earned his A.S. in telelcommunication. He worked as a newspaper editor and a director in a satellite company. Since then, he has become a full-time freelancer in South Carolina. He has been involve in several huge translation projects as technical lead and language lead. He has provided simultaneous interpreting services for some Hi-tech companies, U.S. Congress and the United Nations. |
