English to French: Skin Vault Z32 Report General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Electronics / Elect Eng
Source text - English Project Summary
On June 19th, 2026, Pace Technologies completed Z32 receptacle testing at the Skin Vault Inglewood South center in downtown Calgary, AB. Work on-site included receptacle testing of low voltage electrical receptacles.
Based on our test results, all of the equipment tested is suitable for continued service at rated capacities. Please see section 3 in this report for details of the deficiencies and recommendations that were found during our activities. Review the Summary of Deficiencies and Recommendations to determine what actions should be scheduled and budgeted for prior to and during the next maintenance period to optimize the operation of your equipment.
We strongly recommend continuing your maintenance program to ensure all equipment is tested frequently to ensure functionality of the receptacles that will be powering critical loads.
Description of Work
Our scope of work for this project is as per our master service agreement.
All work was performed to IEEE, NETA, and Manufacturer’s recommended standards.
Voltage Drop Testing
Part of the Z32 Testing procedure included performing a voltage drop test, in which the voltage at no load is recorded, and the voltage at 80% of the load is recorded. We found that all results were acceptable, according to the CSA Z32 standard, which follows Rules 8-102 and 46-306 of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
According to these standards, we have deemed that the electrical test results are acceptable, and the equipment is deemed fit for continued service.
Ground Path Testing
The Z32 testing procedure also included a ground path test, in which the Pace technician used a bonded ground bus as a neutral voltage reference, in comparison to the ground of the tested receptable, to determine the voltage drop between the ground paths.
According to CSA Z32 and CEC standard, it was determined that the voltage drop is well below the threshold, and the equipment is deemed fit for continued service.
Correct Wiring Testing
Correct wiring test was performed, to determine if the Line, Neutral & Ground connection in each receptacle was to standard, using a testing plug. It was determined that all tested receptacles were to the correct standard.
Additionally, the breakers assigned to each receptacle were functioned various times to determine if the receptacle would properly energized & de-energized in unison with the state of the circuit breakers. It was determined that the receptacles were correctly wired and adhered to standards here.
Insulation Resistance Testing (Line & Neutral)
An insulation resistance test was performed as part of the CSA Z32 testing procedure. Both a Line to Ground, and a Neutral to Ground 500V Insulation resistance test were performed to determine the quality of the wires/cables. As per NETA MTS 2023 Standards, the Insulation resistance was deemed sufficient for this low voltage application, verifying an adequate stable of the wire/cables.
Summary of Deficiencies & Recommendation
5659-3B-35
It was noted during the maintenance testing that the receptacle was connected in reverse polarity. Attention regarding this matter was brought forth to the client, in which the client rewired the circuit for proper functionality. The neutral and the hot wire were swapped by the client, and the issue was corrected prior to energizing the equipment. Receptacle 35 was then tested fully by the Pace technician. The results of the test were found to be acceptable.
5659-3B-29, 5659-4A-24
The ground path test could not be completed on 2 of these receptacles, due to the receptacles being a part of the ground fault circuit and including GFCIs. However, there were multiple receptacles, and the other receptacles of the 5659-3B-29 & 5659-4A-24 circuit were tested and the results were acceptable.
Description des Travaux

Bio
I am an English to French (soon to add Swahili) translator and language professional specializing in clear, accurate, and context sensitive communication across technical, healthcare, legal, business, and institutional fields. As a fluent English & French speaker, I approach translation as more than a word for word conversion between languages. My focus is on understanding the purpose, terminology, audience, and context of each document before producing French that is accurate, natural, and appropriate for its intended use. My Technical background in Electrical Engineering Technology has given me particular familiarity with technical and professional documentation, while my work with specialized materials has strengthened my ability to research terminology, maintain consistency, and handle complex subject matter carefully. I am also developing specialized expertise in healthcare and clinical research translation, including participant facing materials, research documentation, and institutional content. My approach is built around three principles: accuracy, clarity, and consistency. I pay close attention to terminology, meaning, formatting, and the subtle differences between language that is understandable, and language that reads naturally to a professional French-speaking audience. I work comfortably with detailed and terminology-heavy material and take the time necessary to verify unfamiliar concepts and terminology rather than relying on literal translation or assumptions. Clients working with me can expect a professional, detail-oriented approach, clear communication, careful terminology management, and a commitment to delivering French that serves the purpose of the original document. I am available for translation, interpretation, revision, proofreading, and language support projects between English and French. I am also available for small scale translation and interpretation projects across English and Swahili.
