I am a newly qualified English-to-Greek translator with a strong interest in literary translation, book publishing, general translation and subtitling. I completed an English–Greek translator training programme at metaφραση Centre for Lifelong Learning, covering translation theory, research and documentation, general translation, and specialised translation in literature, science and technology.

I am particularly interested in translating books and literary texts, with a focus on preserving the author's voice, tone, style and cultural nuances while producing natural, engaging Greek. Through TED Translators, I gain practical experience translating English-language talks into Greek and refining subtitles for clarity, readability and timing. I have also volunteered with Evergreen, translating an article about the Panama Canal from English into Greek.

Alongside my translation training, I bring extensive professional experience in the shipping and maritime industry, particularly in maritime management, health, safety, quality coordination and technical documentation. My work in this sector has given me a strong understanding of maritime terminology, industry-specific documentation, safety procedures and regulatory requirements. It has also strengthened my attention to detail, terminology research and ability to communicate complex information accurately. I am keen to combine this industry knowledge with my translation skills to support maritime, technical and business translation projects.

I have completed the RWS Trados Studio 2022 certification exams at Levels 1, 2 and 3. Committed to continuous professional development, I aim to deliver accurate, well-researched translations that preserve the meaning and intent of the source text while reading naturally in Greek.
