Cubola Productions is one of Belize’s most important Publishing houses and Cubola New Art Foundation was created to support the work of young artists. As in-house editor, I was in charge of proofreading, writing and critical editing of a variety of documents (Books on history, archeology, environment, short stories, promotional material, etc.) in Spanish and in English. As an Advisor in Project development and communications for the Foundation, I wrote project proposals for the development of young artists and the promotion of Belizean culture, as well as promotional materials for arts and crafts produced by youth.
Freelance Translator and writer (Mexico, 1989-1992)
While doing my Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies at the UNAM, I was offering my services as a freelance translator and writer. Some of the most relevant jobs during that time are:
