I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter since 1987. I am a native of Poland and I have lived in the U.S. since 1989. Having been educated in Poland and worked in the U.S. I have gained expert knowledge on both countries and languages.

I specialize in providing language related services to both the public and private sector. I accept the following types of projects (English to/from Polish): translation, consecutive and/or simultaneous interpreting, localization, editing, proofing, as well as other language related tasks.

Areas I have specialized in include, among others: business, banking, finance, investment, law, marketing and advertising, sales, IT, HR, Labor, automotive, and precision machining.

Since 2000 I have been a full time freelancer working, as a translator or interpreter, on projects for Polish and American banks, financial institutions, businesses, local and federal governments, and universities. The projects I have worked included: financial statements, annual reports, marketing research, conferences, seminars, brochures, product information, MIS, courts proceedings, depositions, business meetings, business trips, manufacturing process improvement, instruction manuals, etc.

I am a member of ATA, CHICATA and NAJIT, a contract interpreter with the U.S. State Department, U.S. Federal Court, and the Cook County Court.

My prices are negotiable and based on the number of words for translation projects or hours for interpreting assignments.
