I am a multilingual freelance translator with a masters in translation and over a decade of experience. I translate Thai, French, Spanish and Swedish into English, my mother tongue. Having lived in Thailand for 17 years, I am fluent in both spoken and written Thai and French , offering cultural awareness training and interpreting. I have also spoken French at home for the past 26 years with my partner, and raised our child to be trilingual in English, French and Thai. In the early stages of my career, I worked mainly as a medical and technical translator. I nevertheless have an affinity for botanical, historical and culinary translations. My interests include fermentation, Thai culinary traditions and herbal medicine, Buddhist art, archaeology and ancient history.
