Specialities: Financial/business, literature, art, politics, speeches, press releases. I am a native English-speaker (UK), a translator and teacher of English as a foreign language and spent 14 years in Flanders (the Dutch-speaking area of Belgium), as well as being married to a Fleming for 27 years, so I have a thorough knowledge of both English and Dutch/Flemish. For many years I have translated speeches, articles and other documents for Belgian embassies and ministries. Since 1998 I have been translating literary texts for The Low Countries, a cultural year book produced by Stichting Ons Erfdeel. I also translate speeches, press releases etc for Bekaert, a leading Belgian company. |
