Dans le matériau ou la pièce à essayer, prélever des éprouvettes circulaires d'un diamètre
de 80 mm ± 1 mm à l'aide de l'emporte-pièce (4.11.). Pour certaines pièces, la zone de prélèvement est
définie au plan.
L'épaisseur des éprouvettes peut atteindre 10 mm maximum. Les échantillons plus épais sont ramenés
à 10 mm par usinage de leur sous face. (La sous face correspond au côté non vu par les passagers).
Dans le cas des isolants acoustiques l'usinage s'effectue côté mousse. Dans le cas des planches de bord
composées d'un insert, d'une mousse et d'une peau, une épaisseur supérieure à 10 mm est admise.
Dans le cas des pièces de petites tailles, de formes irrégulières ou si l'utilisation de l'emporte-pièce
n'est pas possible, reconstituer l'éprouvette au moyen de morceaux de pièce obtenus par découpage
manuel ou à la scie en assurant une planéité correcte des échantillons (l’échantillon doit avoir le plus
possible de contact avec le fond du bêcher, pour permettre un meilleur échange thermique). Le cas
échéant, si une planéité correcte ne peut être obtenue, prévoir l'essai sur des éprouvettes planes
représentatives du process avec le ou les mêmes matériaux utilisés.
Pour les échantillons pâteux ou liquide, l’essai de fogging est mené sur un prélèvement de 10 g ± 0,1
g.
Pour éviter tout risque de contamination de l'opérateur, le port de gants Néoprène ou Latex Blancs non
poudrés est prescrit.
Il faut prendre garde aux encres de marquage des pièces afin de ne pas polluer l'éprouvette. Eviter par
conséquent l'utilisation des crayons peinture ainsi que des marqueurs ou feutres.
Translation - English 5.3. SAMPLING
In the material or pieces to be tested, take circular samples of a diameter of 80 mm ± 1 mm with the aid of the Cutting tools (4.11.). For certain pieces, the zone of sampling is defined in the plan.
The thickness of the samples can reach 10 mm maximum. The thicker test samples are brought back to 10 mm by machining the under side. (Under side corresponding to the side not seen by the passengers). In the case of the acoustic insulators machining is carried out on the foam side. In the case of instrument panels composed of an insert, of foam and of skin, a higher thickness of 10 mm is allowed.
In the case of parts of small sizes, irregular forms or if the use of the Cutting tools is not possible, reconstitute test samples by means of parts of pieces obtained by manually cutting or sawing ensuring a correct flatness of the test samples (the test sample must have as much contact as possible with the bottom of the beaker, to allow a better heat exchange). If necessary, if the correct flatness cannot be obtained, allow the test on flat test samples representative of the process with same materials used.
For pasty or liquid samples, the Fogging test is carried out on a sampling of 10g ± 0,1g. To avoid any risk of contamination of the operator, Neoprene or white Latex gloves (not powdered) should be worn as prescribed.
It is necessary to take guard with marking inks on the parts in order not to pollute the test sample. Consequently avoid the use of pencils, paint as well as the markers or felts.
