After schooling, I trained as a Foreign Correspondence Clerk and Linguist Secretary for English, French and Spanish in Germany.
Thereafter I studied in London and received Certificate of Proficiency in English (including Translation German-English and English-German) from the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. During 5-year-stay in London I gained work experience as bi-lingual executive secretary and translator.
During my 20-year-stay in Pakistan, I was employed as translator in the trade/commercial as well as police liaison and consular sections of German, Austrian and Swiss diplomatic missions as well as the US pharmaceutical industry. Translations from and into English and German, interpreting English, German and Urdu - also in the Pakistani and German courts of law - were part of my tasks. As such, I am gained vast translation experience, especially in the commercial, trade, consular, business, criminal and administrative sectors. |
