I studied Statistics at the National School of Statistical Science (ENCE) in Rio de Janeiro and I worked as a Statistician for the Department of Agriculture during a long time. I also studied a little Architecture. Later, I learned translation at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-Rio), where I also took my Post-Graduation Course in English/Brazilian Portuguese Translation, and Spanish/Brazilian Portuguese at Estácio University. I also took another Post-Graduation Course in English/Brazilian Portuguese Translation at Universidade Gama Filho and a Technical Translation Course at SENAC-Rio; besides that I studied in other translation courses in Rio de Janeiro.
I have always worked as a freelance translator for several companies, where I translated texts of some areas such as engineering, electricity, mechanics, architecture, ship manuals, tool manuals, machinery and equipment, environment, fashion marketing, horses, films subtitles, oil an gas, carpentry, compressors, ecology, literature, and cooking.
