Since 2004 to present I have worked as a Freelance English Language Translator within my company, Lingua Terrae Consult SRL, doing translations (English to Romanian, Romanian to English, legal documents, documents in the field of business consulting, management, marketing, etc.); and also as a Freelance English Language Teacher, providing and managing modules of customized language training courses organized in-company (supervising, monitoring the team of English language trainers), teaching general English, teaching ESBP, Romanian for foreign learners), as requested by clients (HVB Tiriac, MB Distribution, Expert Service IT; Halcrow, Anghel&Stabb, CanPack, Billa Romania). Between 2000 - 2004, I worked for Wood, Lupascu, Dumitrescu&Associates SCA (former Hall, Dickler) Romania, Bucharest as a Certified Translator, Interpreter, translating legal texts issued by the Government (laws, decrees, Government Ordinances, Orders, Resolutions, etc), Legal Opinions, Due Diligence Reports, letters, etc. drafted by lawyers, Agreements (Sale/Purchase, Loan, Pledge, Mortgage, Guarantee, Lease, Association, etc.), Incorporation documents, Powers of Attorney, etc., news articles regarding matters followed by the firm, different financial documents (invoices, promissory notes, charts of accounting, any kind of documents submitted by state companies subject to privatization, for their evaluation; interpreting during meetings with clients and court hearings); making the press overview by selecting the relevant economic and political articles. Between 1998 to 2000 I worked both as a highschool Teacher of English and as a Freelance English Translator, I had collaborations with 3M Romania SRL; Freedman International plc., London; Compass Consulting SRL; Amco Press; Niculescu Publishing House. Translations of user’s guides for various appliances and devices; documents: contract, tender, labour book, request for criminal record, birth certificate, diploma; excerpts from Monitorul Oficial), culinary texts (British airline menus for club class passengers), tourist’s maps (The Danube Delta , Map of Monasteries ), books (Niculescu Publishing House), medical texts (hepatitis, medicine directions).
