Source text - English Stocks bounce back after sell-off
THE share market continued on its upward trend at noon, bouncing back after yesterday afternoon's late sell-off.
What has probably happened is that, last night, everyone panicked with the announcement of China's growth and we have decided we are going to bounce back.
The major banks all watched stocks rise. The telecommunication companies' stocks held reasonably steady. The spot gold price was US$683.90 at 12.48pm, down 85 cents from yesterday's close.
Translation - Finnish Sijoitukset toipuvat myyntikuumeen jälkeen
Kaikki suurimmat pankit seurasivat sijoitusten nousua. Tietoliikenneyritysten sijoitukset pysyivät kohtalaisen vakaina. Kullan paikallishinta oli US$683.90 kello 12.48, eli 85 senttiä vähemmän kuin eilen pörssin sulkeutumisen aikaan.
