I have been working as a full-time translator for 10 years now, both freelance and in-house.
My in-house experience includes working for Adam Smith Conferences, an economic conference organiser, for 2 years, where I gained valuable translation experience in such fields as business, marketing, metals and oil. Being the only translator in the company I had to learn to manage my time effectively to ensure all deadlines were met, and to develop an excellent eye for detail as I was solely responsible for the work I delivered.
I currently work a leading London immigration law firm as a senior legal translator, where I manage a team of 5 other translators. I have been in this role for 8 years, during which I have gained vast experience in the legal field. Being a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists I am able to certify documents such as passports, diplomas, birth certificates, etc., often required for immigration and judicial submissions.
I have also enjoyed and completed various projects on a freelance basis, in the fields ranging from PC games to medical and real estate.
My CV is available upon request, please contact me by phone or email if you require any further information.
