EYI & EYG’s policy is that all copyright laws must be observed. Guidelines are summarized below.
i. Photocopying Entire Articles/Works from a Publication or Hard Copy
Works are usually protected by copyright, even if they do not say so explicitly.
Personnel are prohibited from making photocopies of entire works or articles, unless permission in writing (to serve as a record of granted permission) is obtained from the copyright owner, the material is covered under an Ernst & Young license, or the copying is a “fair use”. Fair use generally allows photocopying and retention of an article or work solely for individual use, and only for a short period of time, e.g., a few days.
ii. Creating an Electronic Copy of an Entire Article or Work by Scanning
Works are usually protected by copyright, even if they do not say so explicitly.
Personnel are prohibited from making electronic copies of entire works or articles, unless permission in writing is obtained from the copyright owner.
iii. Downloading or Redistributing Material from a Third Party
Accessing, downloading, or redistributing copyrighted material from a third-party supplier with whom we do not have a license is prohibited. Licenses with electronic services generally allow downloading of the work once, but do not include the right to redistribute it. (Redistribution includes putting the document into an E&Y-created database.) E&Y is negotiating agreements with various information providers.
Works accessed through an electronic service are protected by copyright, even if they do not say so explicitly.
If use of a document is not permitted by a license, written permission must be obtained.

EYI及EYG的政策是：必须遵守所有的版权法。以下是指导原则的摘要。

即便没有明确说明，通过电子服务获取的著作受版权保护。
如果许可证不允许使用某文件，那么必须获得书面允许后才能使用该文件。

I love English and enjoy being a bridge between Chinese and English.During my college life,I majored in Civil Engineering,but I still worked very hard in English and finally sucessfully got the certificate of Medium English Interpretation in 2001.
After graduation,I took a few jobs and kept practicsing translation skills.I also got the certificate of Advanced English Interpretation in 2004.Then I took part in the Business Interpretation Program,which lasted 6 months and from which I learned many skills of translation and interpretation.
I tried to improve my skills through practice.Most impressive project I did was that I translated the DVD for "Philips New Slogan-Sense and Simplicity" ,in which all the Philips leaders expressed their view of this new slogan and what they would do to implement and promote it. Another unforgettable experience is 100 pages of "Mitsubish Manual for Forklift",which challenged me a lot and developed me into an expert in automobile and similar field.In addition,I did many translation in the field of finace,economics and culture.
Now I'm a professional translator with an accountant firm and mainly deal with all kinds of laws,regulations and financial statements.I like it very much and hope I can get more projects in this field to hone my translation skills.
