I am a professional translator and take pride in my profession. I am always happy to meet new clients and will try the best to meet your needs. However, I do have standards and work ethics which I will not compromise. Below you can find some information of what you will – or will not – get if you book me.
  • I do not have fixed rates and I am willing to negotiate a price that fits both sides. However, I will not work for $0.03 per word. If you are looking for cheap translations, please, do not contact me.
  • I will meet your deadline. I understand that deadlines are not guidelines but mean that you need the job done by a certain time. You will always receive your translation by the time agreed (or normally earlier).
  • I respect the format of your source files. I can work with multiple source formats and will deliver the translation in the same format. I use the tools of the trade to ensure that tags and code will not be deleted or destroyed.
  • I only deliver files that I have thoroughly proofread and spell checked. Of course, nobody can guarantee that their translations will be absolutely error-free. However, I always run a spell-checker and I thoroughly proofread all my translations on paper.
  • I will ask questions. If I have doubts about the source text or need further information, I will contact you. In my opinion, asking questions is not a sign of weakness but the only way to create a high-quality translation.
  • I will not accept any job just to please you. If something is out of my specialties or if the requested deadline is too short for me to deliver quality work, I will tell you so and turn down the job.
  • I don't provide references. I sign non-disclosure agreements with my clients and I treat their data as confidential. You probably would not want me to forward your information to third parties and neither do my other clients.
