I began studying German in 1998 when I was in seventh grade. I continued studying German throughout middle school, high school and college. I just received my BA in German from Texas Tech University (2007).

I have taken a class in German Translation and passed my Zertificat Deutsch für den Beruf (ZDfB).

In the past I have mostly translated newspaper articles and genealogical papers.
