I am a professional translator (English < > Chinese), rated as TRANSLATOR (a professional title for China’s experienced translators) in China in 1993, which is recognized/honored by the Chinese government and accredited by the TAC (Translators Association of China). I am also a voting/active member of ATA (American Translators Association) and a member of NLSC (National Language Service Corps).

I have over 30 years’ extensive experience in translating all kinds of documents/materials in various subject areas from English to Chinese and vice versa, and more than 20 years’ experience as an editor/proofreader in doing QA/QC jobs, with a working knowledge of both Simplified Chinese (used in Mainland China, Singapore and Malaysia, etc.) and Traditional Chinese (used in U.S. and/or overseas Chinese communities, Taiwan and Hong Kong, etc.).
