He used to learn English by reading textbooks and watching TV for about 4 years and got a college diploma in that way. He translated a lot during that time; say a book about library science, British Pharmacopoeia, a dictionary of American slang and more. He went to live in the US for 3 years, setting up a business in supplements material supplies. After coming back to China, with the business still running under his control, he worked with a translation company in his free time because he likes this work so much. He takes translation as art.
